Description
311 HSW/YASK intends to issue a solicitation Switlik Parachute Co, 1325 East Street, Trenton, NJ 08607-1328 and Wirt Inflatable Specialist, Pike Street (State Rt 4), Elizabeth, WV 26143. The purpose of the contract will be to award a 3 year requirements contract which inlcudes a basic year and two option years. Total BEQ is 798 ea. North American Industry Classification code is 33614 with 1000 employees. This is a Firm Fixed Priced requirements contract. Contract Line Item 0001 is for NSN: 4220-00-606-1994LS. P/N: 56K3881 or MIL2578C. Noun: MB-1 Life Preserver. Dimensions: Packed in container approximately 33" long x 6" wide. Predominate material: Polyamide Nylon, Chloroprene coated. Function: Used as emergency flotation gear by casualties aboard aircraft during flights over water. Deliver to Warner Robins AFB. Inspect and Accept: Orgin. Delivery within 120 days ARO. Vendor must be on the Qualified Products List (QPL) or be qualified prior to award. Contarctor First Article testing approval required of vendors not on the QPL. Responses should be submitted no later than fifteen days after synopsis appears in the CBD. Please note that telephone requests will not be honored. Only e-mail, written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified in this notice for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satified by the contrcting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of an acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but communicates Contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. Whenrequested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentially as to the source of the concern.
