Description

The work to be performed consists of performing an evaluation of the Local Area Network (LAN) for the Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, Billings, Montana. The contractor will be required to evaluate, assess and optimize our current LAN with special attention given to recommendations resulting in an improved, proficient and effective network infrastructure. Activities to accomplish this evaluation may include analyzing the network environment, desktop configuration, network backbone, system integration, and server hardware and operating system configurations. The Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be made available on or around February 20, 2001 and the due date for quotes is tentatively scheduled for March 22, 2001. All reasonable sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. This is a Small Business Set-Aside. This acquisition will be made pursuant to FAR Part 12, Commercial Item Acquisition. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 8742. The North American Industrial Classification System code is 541611. The small business size standard is $5.0 Million. To receive a copy of the RFQ, contractors shall fax a request to (406) 247-7798. The fax must include contractors name name, address, phone/fax numbers, tax identification and Duns numbers. The faxes shall be to the attention of Gerri Voto.
