Description

Synopsis 01-017: Solicitation SP4400-01-R-0013. Service contract for all fees, labor, packaging, transportation, and disposal of hazardous/non-hazardous waste located at DRMO Norfolk and Norfolk Naval Shipyard and surrounding locations. Procurement also includes certain installation waste management services and conforming storage facility support. Multiple award possiblities will be offered. Anticipated date for solicitation issue is on or about 28 February 2001 and the solicitation will only be issued on the WORLD WIDE WEB (WWW). The web site address is: HTTP://WWW.DRMS.DLA.MIL. The procurement is unrestricted and proposals will be due approximately 30 March 2001. This will be a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for a period of eighteen (18) months and two, 18-month options will be included. Performance will be requested on delivery orders issued against the basic contract. Special requirements: prospective contractors or subcontractors must comply with all federal, state and local laws, ordinances and regulations governing handling, transportation, and disposal of hazardous materials and environmental protection.
