Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Washington (FISC) on behalf of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), is soliciting vendors offering commercially available items to participate in the on-line DoD Electronic Mall (DoD EMALL). The DoD EMALL, a product of The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and the Joint Electronic Commerce Program Office (JECPO), is an internet-based ordering service that allows worldwide customers to shop 24 hours a day for products from a variety of sources based on such criteria as price, delivery and product description. We seek products used by military and Federal consumers. Surplus and refurbished, as well as items requiring source inspection are not permitted on the DoD EMALL at this time. Items with long delivery lead times or uncertain availability should not be offered. Other restrictions may apply. FISC intends to issue multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) with a one-year base period. You can visit the DoD EMALL without registering at http://www.emall.dla.mil; however, unregistered visitors cannot see price or delivery information. The solicitation will be issued no later than February 4, 2001 and will be posted at http://www.neco.navy.mil under solicitation N0060001R0307. Monitor the web site at www.neco.navy.mil for amendments to the solicitation. Written inquiries may be directed to Darien DiCamillo, email darien _dicamillo@fmso,navy.mil. This solicitation will remain open continuously for 12 months from the date of issue. Vendors are requested to submit proposals anytime until the RFP expires. This procurement is unrestricted, full and open competition.
