Description

The U. S. Department of Energy (DOE), Albuquerque Operations Office (AL) is requesting interested and qualified firms to submit proposals and compete for the award of a requirements contract for night vision goggles, AN/PVS-7D, Generation 3 with head harness and soft storage carrying case. The night vision goggles shall be manufactured in accordance with military specifications MIL-G-49313 (CR) dated 16 March 1992. The DOE/AL has determined the goggles manufactured by ITT Night Vision and Litton Electro-Optical Systems to meet the specifications. Any goggles manufactured by another company must match these goggles from a form, fit, and function perspective. A request for proposal (RFP) will be issued sixteen days after the publication of this notice in the CBD. Interested firms should submit a letter requesting a copy of the solicitation, including the mailing address of the firm, telephone/fax number and point of contact.
