Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipayrd Annex proposes to contract for FEP-Teflon Type Hose. Each section shall be 50FT lengths without end fittings, teflon smooth lining wire reinforced spring steel helix built in, reinforced with multiple plies of synthetic fabric, suction service to 28" mercury, working pressure 100 PSI minimum, temp rating 225 degrees F continuous with 250 degree intermittent. Hose shall meet a Detrimental Material Test and Crimp Test which will be a part of the written solicitation and will require contractor certificate of compliance. The quantities and sizes are: 1) 1500 Feet 3/4" I.D. x 1 3/16" minimum O.D., bend radius 8", Flexible Component Part Number TLCT 3/4 or equal. 2) 1500 Feet 1 1/2" I.D. x 2" minimum O.D., bend radius 16", Flexible Component Part Number TLCT 1 1/2 or equal. This requirement will be accomplished in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR Part 13 and is SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. Materials to be delivered to Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000. Response date for the submission of quotations is 01 March 01. All requests for solicitation packages will be via mail, e-mail, or expedited mail services only. FAX OR PHONE REQUESTS ARE NOT AUTHORIZED AND WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
