Description

This solicitation is for the procurement of part-numbered items manufactured by a variety of manufacturers. Coverage will be provided for military customers in the continental United State (CONUS), outside the continental United States (OCONUS), and Foreign Military Sales (FMS). Items are to be delivered to various stock locations and directly to the military customers. Orders will be placed electronically and manually. FOB Destination prices are requested for stock and non-stocked shipments. FOB Origin prices are requested for FMS requirements. The requested delivery is 5 days for non-stocked items, 15 days for stock items, and 30 days for FMS items. Offers by facsimile (FAX) are acceptable (see provision L11 for information). See Note(s) 9. This solicitation is an RFP or IFB and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/Rfp on its issue date of 2-23-01. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total shall not exceed 5 years. This is an unrestricted acquisition. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class 2910,2940. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
