Description

This acquisition is being offered for competition limited to eligible 8(a) concerns. It has been determined that competition will be limited to 8(a) firms serviced by the SBA Region IV District Offices, namely: Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida. The due date above for receipt of proposals is an estimated date. The actual date will be stated in the solicitation. NAICS Code is 234990. Size standard is $27.5 million. Contractor must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration prior to award of this contract. The work includes but not limited to construction of low-level dike on two disposal sites in Horry County using material at site. Install eight (8) water control structures (spillways) on AIWW side of existing disposal sites. Conduct maintenance dredging of approx. 540,900 cubic yards of material from AIWW navigation channel in Horry County, South Carolina. All dredged material is to be placed in disposal sites along the AIWW. Estimated value: $1,000,000 to $5,000,000.
