Description

Work consists of design/build of C-5 Engine Test Cell Doors, Bldg 1001, at Travis AFB, CA 94535-2632. The principle items of work shall include but are not limited to the design for removing existing 16' X 16' acoustic pair door with automatic door operator complete, installing new 16' X 16' acoustic pair (swing) doors with automatic door operator complete, and disposal of all demolished material off base in accordance with Federal and State regulations. The solicitation package will include general requirements, lead based paint abatement and disposal, technical provisions, general painting and drawings (2) which are provided for informational purposes only. Actual design will be the responsibility of the awardee. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP), Price Performance Tradeoff (PPTO) solicitation. There will be no public bid opening. Award will be made based upon the "Best Value" to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 15. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. THE PROPOSED CONTRACT HEREIN IS RESTRICTED TO ALL QUALIFIED HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. All responsible offerors must be CCR registered to be considered for award. The closing date and time, on or about 19 Mar 01, for submission of offerors will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation package will be posted on Electronic Posting System (EPS), on or about 16 Feb 01, which can be accessed at www.eps.gov/. The government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation and unofficial source list. Telephone, written, facsimile, or email request for solicitation package and unofficial source list will not be honored. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring the EPS site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. Prospective offerors shall submit the company name, address, including your zip plus four number, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, point of contact and identify if they have other designated size standards besides HUBZone (i.e. Woman Owned, 8(a), Disabled Veteran) to SSgt Shelly J.
