- Description
- The Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center (FMS/90C) 650 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix Arizona 85012 is seeking a contractor to furnish all necessary labor, tools, materials, supervision and to perform removal and replacement of cast iron and/or galvanized drain line piping ranging from six inches and smaller and certain other items indicated on the drawings. Piping shall be replaced below the first floor in either crawl spaces or basement work areas. Contractor shall coordinate with Medical Center personnel during replacement of referenced piping. Shut down times for connections shall not exceed four (4) hours per section at any given time due to these are active drain lines. It is recommended that contractors bidding this work familiarize themselves with the work involved. This solicitation will result in a construction contract in which performance and payment bonding will be required. This is and Invitation for Bids (IFB). Cost range for the project is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS code for this project is 23511. Responsible contractors interested in this project are encourage to request IFB packages. Packages will be available on or about February 12, 2001. Solicitation documents will be available in electronic and hard copy form.
