Description

The project shall include surface blading of the road traveled way and shoulders and ditch pulling. The contractor shall furnish all motor patrols, operators, laborers, fuel, transportation, and other supplies and equipment necessary to perform road maintenance activities. The normal maintenance period for Fall is September 1 to November 30 and Spring period is March 1 to May 30. The various roads to be bladed and maintained are located in the counties of Shannon, Carter, Ripley, Wayne, Butler, Taney, Ozark, Christian, Howell, Oregon, Douglas, Barry and Stone, Mark Twain National Forest, Missouri. This solicitation is for an indefinite-quantity contract. The quantities of services specified in the Schedule of Items are estimates ONLY and are not necessarily purchased by this contract. This will be a performance based service contract. Awards will be based on written technical proposals and price factors with the best overall value to the Government, which reserves the right to make an award on the basis of initial offers received. An award will be made for each item to the offeror whose proposal is most advantageous to the Government. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns.
