Description

**THIS NOTIFICATION SERVES AS THE SYNOPSIS** The work consists of the contractor furnishing all plant, labor, parts, tools, personnel, equipment, supervision and materials necessary to perform all operations, in strict accordance with specifications and applicable drawings. The scope of work for this project primarily includes, but is not limited to the complete replacement of the hydronic heating system, along with some plumbing work. Some modifications to the steam piping system is also required. Excavation is required for the removal and replacement of buried heat piping. Electrical work is limited to the connection of temporary water heaters, installation of zone valves, and the relocation of thermostats. Minor wall framing and installation of wallboard; painting of new and repaired walls; and installation of doors will complete the project. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 235110 with at size standard of $11.5 million. This project consists of one base item and five optional bid items. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This acquisition is being made under full and open competition conditions. THIS SOLICITATION IS PAPERLESS AND WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE VIA THE INTERNET FOR VIEWING AND DOWNLOADING AT FedBizOpps.gov . AMENDMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED ON THE INTERNET ONLY.
