Description

Maintenance Hopper Dredging at Clatsop, Columbia, Coos and Multnomah counties in Oregon and Pacific, Wahkiakum, Cowlitz and Clark counties in Washington. The main work will include dredging 1,550,000 cubic yards of continuous shoaling and 100,000 cubic yards of intermittent shoaling in the Columbia River and an optional item for 400,000 cubic yards at Coos Bay entrance. The contractor is required to commence work within 20 calendar days after notice to proceed and complete the work within 150 calendar days. Estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Request for solicitation number DACW57-01-B-0005 will be available on or about 9 March 2001 and bids due on or about 9 April 2001. This procurement is open to large and small businesses. The size standard is a concern, including all affiliates having average annual sales or receipts for the past three years not in excess of $27.5 million.
