Description
The NAVSTAR Global Positioning System (GPS) Joint Program Office (JPO), Ground Receivers project office, herewithin provides the following information: (1) There is an upcoming GPS Joint Program Office (JPO) Ground Receiver/DAGR Industry Day meeting planned. The JPO will be discussing the schedule, goals and objectives of the Ground Receiver PRDA contracts and present proposed schedules for future production efforts and topics for future DAGR specific Industry Days. The meeting will take place at Fort MacArthur, San Pedro, CA on Monday, 12 February 2001, 1:30 p.m. at the Community Center. If you are planning to attend the Industry Day on 12 February, please send a list of the personnel to Misty Honeywell via e-mail, Misty.Honeywell@LOSANGELES.AF.MIL Additionally, visitor/clearance information should be faxed mailed to: Ms. Misty Honeywell 2435 Vela Way, Suite 1613 Los Angeles AFB El Segundo, CA 90245-5500 Phone: (310)363-6369, Fax: (310)363-3844 At this time we do not anticipate any of the meetings will be classified. If during the individual sessions you foresee the need to discuss classified topics inform Misty Honeywell. (2) Proprietary sessions may also be scheduled for February 21 and 22, 2001, for only potential prime level contractors interested in the DAGR production acquisition. If you would like to arrange a proprietary session, notify Misty Honeywell at the forementioned e-mail address. (3) The suspense for submitting Industry Day attendees, request for proprietary session, and visitor/clearance information is 6 February 2001. (4) The Ground Receiver program office is generating a new list of interested Industry members. To receive any future corresonspondance from the Ground Receiver project office, all organizations, to include those on the previous mailing list, must re-submit the company's name, mailing address, POC's, their telephone numbers, facsimile number and e-mail address, to Misty Honeywell at the forementioned e-mail address. (5) Please fax any technical questions to Major Lisa Schleder-Kirkpatrick, SMC/CZUG, or any contractual questions to Ms. Rosetta Skelton, SMC/CZK, at (310) 363-6301. Written questions may be submitted to SMC/CZK, Los Angeles AFB, 2435 Vela Way, Suite 1613, El Segundo, CA 90245-5500, Attn: Ms. Rosetta Skelton. This notice is not intended to award a contract on the basis of information submitted nor otherwise pay for information solicited. Also, be advised that an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from potential offerors during the planning phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the System Program Director or the Contracting Officer, but to assist in communicating offeror concerns, issues, disagreements and recommendation to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
