Description

The Army Telecommunications Directorate (ATD) has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services at Fort Riley, KS. The proposed contract is for a base year with four one-year options. The local exchange services provider, certified by the state of Kansas, shall provide local commercial communications service for Fort Riley, which shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial subscriber lines, local exchange access analog trunks, local exchange access digital trunks, and local exchange digital (ISDN PRI) trunk, directory number and number portability. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. Sources responding to this requirement must indicate in writing, whether they are a large, small, disadvantaged and /or women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under NAIC Codes 51331 and 51333 (formerly SIC code 4813) with size standard of 1500 employees. This requirement shall be a commercial fixed price type contract. Solicitation is anticipated to be released on or about 9 Feb 01. The Government will conduct a preproposal conference and site visit on 28 Feb 01 at Fort Riley, Building 808, Room 133. The conference will be from 9:00-10:30 (approximately) and will be followed by a site visit from 10:30 12:00 noon. Vendors shall submit a list of all attendees (not to exceed 3 per company) to Commander, Army Signal Command, ATTN: AFSC-LOO (Joyce Corrington), Bldg 61801, Fort Huachuca, AZ 85613-5000, (520) 538-2245 or joyce.corrington@hqasc.army.mil prior to 20 February 2001. The list shall include full names of attendees and position titles. For security purposes, attendees must be prepared to show photo identification before entering conference room. Any questions prior to the conference must be received by the specialist before 20 Feb 01. Questions generated as a result of the preproposal conference must be received before 8 Mar 01. Written responses to offeror-generated questions will be provided to all Offerors.
