Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Jacksonville, Florida, intends to solicit, negotiate and acquire commercially available AerMet 100 alloy (AMS 6532) in bar stock form on a sole source basis from Carpenter Technology Corporation, 3885 Crestwood Parkway Suite 500, Duluth, Georgia 30096. Carpenter Technology Corporation holds all patent and proprietary rights for AerMet 100 alloy. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals that clearly demonstrate the ability to meet the needs of the Government which are received by the closing response date for receipt of proposals will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
