- 17. This is a combined synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are solicited with this notice. A written quotation will not be issued. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-21. This solicitation is a 100% for small business set-aside, the associated Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3663, (size: 750 employees). The Television-Audio Support Activity intends to procure the following item: CLIN 0001: Engineering, furnishing, installation, testing and training to provide one (1) turnkey television production vehicle system. System c/o the van (commercially available vehicle, except where modification are required to meet the specification of the Statement of Work (SOW).) complete Electronic News Gathering (ENG) equipments, VHF/UHF TV signal acquisition equipments, video production system and various electronical cabling. The Government inspection and acceptance will be at the contractor's facility, point of manufacture and/or integration. SUB-CLIN 0001AA: Turnkey Television Production Vehicle Systems; in accordance (IAW) paragraph 1.0 to 3.2.2 of the SOW. CLIN 0001AB: Commercial Manuals; IAW 3.3.of the SOW. CLIN 0001AC: Engineering Drawing; IAW paragraph 3.4 of the SOW. CLIN 0001AD: Training; IAW paragraph 3.5 of the SOW. CLIN 0001AE: Test and Acceptance Plan; IAW paragraph 4.1 of the SOW. CLIN 0001AF: Acceptance Test; IAW paragraph 4.2 of the SOW. CLIN 0001AG: Warranty; IAW paragraph 4.3.1, of the SOW. CLIN 0001AH: Vehicle Manufacturer's Warranty; IAW paragraph.4.3.2 of the SOW. The Government inspector will travel to the contractor's facility to observe final testing and familiarization of the van system and take delivery of the system. Interested offerors may obtain a copy of the SOW for the van system at the Television-Audio Support Activity (-ASA) web site ftp: www.tasa.army.mil/pub/1A9 on or about February 02, 2001 in portable document file (PDF) format. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Responses to this notice must be provided in writing. Responses may be mailed to Television Audio Support Activity, Sacramento Contracting Office, Attn: T-ASA/SCO (Chongae Makiya), 3230 Peacekeeper Way, BLDG: 209 McClellan, CA 95652. All responses to this notice must make reference to quotation number 1A9. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to offerors-Commercial Items, and 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. The evaluation criteria for this solicitation will consist of price, technical capability of offered item and past performance. Technical capability and past performance, when combined, are equal to price. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this quotation, contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial items, with their offer.
