Description

The Corporation for National Service, a wholly owned Government Corporation, intends to award a contract to a qualified vendor who can provide lodging, conference space, and meals for a AmeriCorps*VISTA Early Service Training. This event will take place in the Denver, CO metropolitan area, March 4-8, 2001. Registration: Two (2) large covered tables set up in the assigned registration area or outside the main meeting room beginning at 3:00pm on Sunday, March 4, 2001 and remaining until conference conclusion. A message board should be set up and left in the registration area throughout the conference. Sleeping rooms: Forty (40) singles, March 4-7, 2001(four nights). Thirty-five (35) doubles, March 4-7, 2001 (four nights). Meeting Space: March 4th: (3:00pm-9:00pm) for one hundred (100) attendees set in rounds of ten. March 5th-7th: (8:00am-6:00pm) for one hundred (100) attendees set in rounds of ten. Meals: (7:00pm-8:00pm) dinner for one hundred and ten (110) attendees on March 4, 2001, (6:00pm-7:30pm) and dinner of one and hundred and ten (110) attendees on March 5-7, 2001. Lunch for one hundred and ten (110) attendees (12:00pm-1:00pm) on March 5-7, 2001. Breakfast for one hundred and ten (110) attendees (6:45am-8:00am) on March 5-8, 2001. Refreshments: To be served each morning and afternoon of the conference. Morning breaks may consist of refreshing coffee and tea at breakfast and light snacks; afternoon breaks should include cold and light snacks. Menus must be included in your proposal. Audio Visual Equipment: March 4-7, 2001- One (1) overhead projector and one (1) screen and seven (7) flip charts. One (1) TV/VCR on March 5, 2001. Rental expenses for A/V equipment must be included in your proposal. Transportation: Shuttle service available to and from area airports on March 4th and March 8th, 2001. Incidentals: The guests will pay personal expenses (telephone calls, room service, etc.) themselves. Special requirements: Meeting rooms and at least 25% of sleeping rooms must be accessible to physically challenged individuals. At least 25 % of the attendees at meals will be vegetarians or vegans. Federal regulations require that any hotel/conference space contracted shall comply with the American Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements and the FEMA, Fire Prevention and Control guidelines. All proposed prices must be inclusive. For example: audio-visual rentals and the cost of food must include gratuity, if applicable. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is HQMWR0106 and is issued as a request for a quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. The provisions at 52.212.1, Instructions to Offerors Commerical, applies to this acquisition. Offeror must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items with its offer. This is a best value procurement and evaluation of offers will be based on quality, past performance and price. References must be included with your offer. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statues or Executive Orders Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
