Description

This is a modification to the synopsis entitled 9001 GAP ANALYSIS & TECHNICAL ASSESSMENT SERVICES/W-10-04940 which was posted on January 25, 2001. You are notified that the following changes are made: 1. Please reference W-10-04956 as the correct Solicitation Number, and 2. Justification to awarding a sole source procurement to Qualitec Consulting is in NASA's best interest because; Qualitec was a partner with NASA Headquarter from the very beginning of our ISO 9001 implementation. Qualitec was involved in every aspect of this implementation including: a. Developing the Headquarters strategy, b. Interpreting the ISO 9001 standard in Headquarters, c. Conducting gap analyses and ISO 9001 internal audits, d. Assisting Headquarters personnel prepare for the external ISO 9001 registration audits, and e. Assisting the corrective action process implementation. As a result of this experience and unique knowledge, Qualitec is the most qualified company available to perform the GAP Analysis and Technical Assessment Services. This experience and knowledge serves as the foundation to determine the areas of vulnerability of the current versus the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 version.
