Description

Solicitation Number N00421-01-R-0115 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). DFARS 252.204-7004 "Required Central Contractor Registration" applies to all solicitations issued on/after 6/1/98. Lack of registration in CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Please ensure compliance with this regulation when submitting your offer. The Naval Air Warfare Center/Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Naval Strike Aircraft Test Squadron has a requirement for technical services to support the projected F/A-18, T-45, EA-6B, AV-8B, JSF and X-31 Project Office tasking. The services include test planning and operations services, functional engineering support, documentation support, flight operations coordination support, and corporate operations/systems support. The period of performance is for a base year plus four one-year options with a starting date of 15 November 2001. The services are performed at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland. The estimated level of effort is 398,774 man-hours, inclusive of option years. The contract type is anticipated to be cost plus fixed fee. This requirement is being procured on a full and open competitive basis. All interested firms must have or be able to obtain a Secret facility clearance.
