17. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F34601-01-R-49293. The solicitation is a request for proposal (RFP). Source(s) are: (Cage 63005 ) Rolls-Royce Corp, 2001 Tibbs Ave, Indianapolis IN 46206, (Cage 1HUX5) Dimo Corp, 268 Quigley Blvd, New Castle DE 19720, and (Cage 13580) Sifco Custom Machining Co, 2430 N. Winnetka Ave, Minneapolis MN 55427. This solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20 (FAC). The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 336412. This is a requirement for Line Item 0001; NSN: 2840-01-420-0654OJ; six 1st stage vane assy, contained within the turbine and inlet casing provides rigidity and structural support when the turbine is complete the vane assy, increases the velocity of the gases passing through them as they direct the gases at the proper angle into the blades; qty is for 1500 ea; P/N(s) 6894101; size/dimension: 8 by 5 by 8 inches; predominate material is cobalt alloy, corrosion and heat resistant, bars, forging, and rings; applicable to the T56/ 7B engine. Place of delivery and acceptance is Tinker AFB, OK, (FB2039) with FOB origin. Required delivery schedules are as follows: 500 ea for 30 Jun 01, 500 ea for 31 Jul 01, and 500 ea for 31 Aug 01.
