Description

FISC NNSY Annex intends to procure on a sole source basis from Canberra Industries the original equipment manufacturer items listed blow. This is a combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 13.5 with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number is N00181-01-Q-0190 applies. The solicitation document and incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement 1998 Ed. The Standard Industrial Code is 3826 and NAICS code is 334516; business size standard is 500. Numbered Note 22 applies. FISC Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex intends to procure as a firm fixed price award the following items: ITEM 0001: Qty-1 each; Germanium Coaxial Detector, Model GC3519 (included: vertical dipstick, Slimline Model #7500SL); ITEM 0002: Qty-1 each; Annular Plug, Model #747-2; ITEM 0003: Qty-1 each, Cold Finger Extension, 4" long, Model #CFE-4; ITEM 0004: Qty 1 each, All-in-one detector cable, 3M model #C1551-10; ITEM 0005: Qty-2 each, ICB Digital Signal Processor w/auto pole zero, Model 9660A; ITEM 0006: Qty 1 each, Acquisition interface module, Model 556A; ITEM 0007: Qty-1 each, NIM Bin/power supply, Model #2100-1; ITEM 0008: Qty- 1 each; Detector LN2 monitor, Model #1786A; ITEM 0009: Qty-1 each; Factory Integration and test, Model #ASM-INT. Delivery shall be Fob Destination to Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Receiving Officer, Bldg. 276, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000. Inspection and Acceptance is Destination,. IMPORTANT NOTICE: DFARS 252.204-7004 "Required Central Contractor Registration" applies. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror/quoter INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD, Please ensure compliance with this regulation when submitting your quote. Offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Offer representation and certification commercial items. A copy of clause is available upon request. Offer shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable price, technical capability, adherence to applicable clauses, provisions, delivery schedule and satisfactory past performance record. This procurement is part of the Navy's contractor Evaluation system, Red/Yellow/Green Program. Award will be based on the Contracting Officer's decision as to which offer provides the best value to the Navy price, past quality performance, and other factors considered.
