Description

This is a synopsis for a non-commercial item prepared in accordance with FAR subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation Number N00164-01-Q-0084 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is a sole-source to Simunition a Division of SNC Technologies, 5 Montee des Arsenaux, La Gardeur, (Quebec) Canada, J5Z 2P4. The sole source is based on prior history (the only known manufacturer of the above cartridges). The Small Business Set-aside has been dissolved. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20 and DCN 20001025. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332995. Clin 001 is for a quantity of 52 can (3800 rounds per can)of 9mm blue marking cartridges. Clin 002 is for a quantity of 17 cans (3800 rounds per can) of 9mm red marking cartridges. Evaluation for award will be based on past performance. List Performance on your five most recently completed Federal Government contracts (not to exceed three years since completion ) for like or similar items under this quote. Delivery is required F.O.B. Crane, In 47522 within 120 days after award of order. Final inspection will be NSWC Crane. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. A firm Fixed-Price Purchase Order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
