Description

100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The due date for receipt of bids is an estimated date and is subject to change. The actual date and time for receipt of bids will be specified in the solicitation document. The solicitation document will be available on or about 08 March 2001. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) system has been replaced with the new North American Industry Classification System (NAICS). The old SIC code was 1629 with a size standard of $17 million. The new NAICS code for this project is 234990 with a size standard of $27.5 million. The term "size standard" describes the numerical definition of a small business. In other words, a business including its affiliates, which has been in business for three or more complete fiscal years with annual average gross revenue of $27.5 million or below meets the size standard and is considered Small Business. Contractor must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration prior to award of this solicitation. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. The work consist of constructing low level dikes on four (4) Disposal Sites in Colleton County using material at sites. Construct four (4) adjustable water control disposal sites along Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AIWW) between South Edisto River and Port Royal, SC. Survey completed dike work. Sites are only accessible by water. The estimated value of the proposed project is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000.
