- Description
- THIS IS THE SECOND NOTICE. Requirements include the following functional areas: building and structure maintenance and repairs, electrical power distribution, potable and non-potable water distribution, wastewater and storm water collection and treatment, HVAC and refrigeration systems maintenance and repairs, and distribution systems maintenance and repairs, hazardous waste and material handling, family housing maintenance and repairs, and other services related to a federal public works operation. This list is not intended to be all inclusive but rather to provide an overview of the variety of services required to support the Mission of the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, SC. This requirement is a Cost Comparison Study in accordance with Circular A-76 to determine whether it is cost effective to contract out these services or keep in house with Government personnel. Any resultant contract will be a base year with four one-year options to extend services with the total contract term not to exceed 60 months. The contract type will be a firm fixed-price. This is a negotiated source selection procurement which consists of the submission of price and technical proposals. Proposal evaluation will be in accordance with the procedures set forth in OMB Circular A-76 and Section M of the Request for Proposal. It is the Government's intention to issue this solicitation exclusively through the Internet at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. The entire solicitation will be available at the site for viewing or downloading on or about March 2001. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register at the web site once the solicitation is made available. This will normally be the only method of distribution of amendments, therefore it is the offeror's responsibility to periodically check the web site for amendments to the solicitation. The official plan holders list will also be maintained on and can be printed from the web site. This procurement is being issued as a total set-aside for small business. The NAICS is 56121 with a size standard of $20M. THIS IS THE SECOND NOTICE.
