Description

Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) has posted the following announcement: Interested sources are sought to perform services in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) Security Assistance Accounting Operation currently performed in Charleston, SC; Columbus, OH; Denver, CO; Dayton, OH; Limestone, ME; Omaha, NE; San Antonio, TX; San Bernardino, CA; Indianapolis, IN; Rock Island, IL; and St. Louis, MO. This procurement will be conducted as part of a cost comparison under the Commercial Activity OMB Circular A-76 guidelines. The active solicitation MDA220-01-R-0001 has been posted to DFAS Web page http: www.dfas.mil/aso/contract/. A Pre-proposal conference is scheduled for Feb 9, 2001 in Denver, CO. A Fixed Priced contract is anticipated the period of performance will be a base year and four one-year option plus option to extend the contract for six months in accordance with FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services.
