Description

Technical services in support of all aspects of NUWCDIVNPT Missiles Division laboratory tasks. This work includes testing, inspection, refurbishment, and prototyping of hardware, verifying procedures, and training of personnel on all TOMAHAWK and Encapsulated HARPOON simulated missiles, All-Up-Rounds (AUR) and support equipment for US Navy and FMS cases, as required. This is a follow-on to contract N66604-96-D-A549 which was competitively awarded to Aquidneck Management Associates of Middletown, RI. This solicitation will be Unrestricted. Evaluation will be based on Greatest Value including Technical Capability and Cost. Technical Capability subfactors include: Personnel, Past Performance and Technical Approach. The main place of performance is NUWC Division, Newport, RI (Government site). The estimated Level of Effort is 15,240 per year for a total of 76,200 hours over a five (5) year period. The categories of labor are: Technician (Electro/Mechanical) VI(key), Technician (Electro/Mechanical) II(key), Technician (Electro/Mechanical) I, Logistician II, Word Processor III and Word Processor I. Facility and Safeguarding Clearance to SECRET level is required. The Service Contract Act applies. Wage determinations have been requested for Newport, RI, other places of performance are unknown. Additional Wage Determinations will be requested if asked to do so in writing within 14 days of solicitation issuance (per FAR 52.222-49).
