QUANTITY: 1 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE (POP): 1 YEAR PART NUMBER: HP256U-SJF 9.SUPPORT FOR LOGIC WORKBENCH/SESCALD (UNIX) QUANTITY: 1 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE (POP): 1 YEAR PART NUMBER: LWB20-SJF 10.SUPPORT FOR SPECCTRAQUEST PLANNER QUANTITY: 1 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE (POP): 1 YEAR PART NUMBER: PE2100-SJF 11.SUPPORT FOR ALLEGRO EXPERT QUANTITY: 1 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE (POP): 1 YEAR PART NUMBER: VT2200-SJF This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from Cadence Design Systems, Inc., as they are the originator of this software, and the only vendor that can provide software support for these CAE Tools. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 4:30p.m. local time on February 9, 2001. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
