- Description
- DESC: In accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, the Contracts Department of the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, intends to procure any and/or all types of valves, valve kits and associated valve parts listed under FSC's 4810 and 4820. The contract will be a firm fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract for one base year with two, one year options. Contract will be a Direct Vendor Delivery (DVD) contract. Orders may be placed against this contract by various Government agencies. Any offeror responding to this announcement must be able to support use of the Government Purchase Card in the placement of orders. This is an unrestricted procurement, all responsible sources may submit an offer. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on or about February 13, 2001 on the US Navy Electronic commerce Online (NECO) web link http://www.neco.navy.mil. The NECO website can also be accessed by going through the FISC-SD web link: www.sd.fisc.navy.mil. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to independently review the referenced web links frequently for updates to any and all documents. The rfp will be issued with the anticipation of obtaining current pricing and parts information for all NIIN's listed. All prospective offerors are cautioned that in the event the Government is unable to determine price reasonableness based on the offers received and market analysis, the Government will not issue a contract. This decision is solely the decision and right of the Government. All efforts performed and all cost expended by the Contractor in providing information requested by the solicitation are not subject to reimbursement by the Government. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). The Government does not anticipate paper copies of these documents to be issued. Per DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration is mandatory for all contractors in order to receive award of a contract or order.
