Description

Pre-Solicitation Notice. Carpet replacement and painting are required at the USDA, ARS, U. S. Meat Animal Research Center, Clay Center, NE. Work includes removal and disposal of approximately 3,000 square yards of gluded down carpet; provide and install approximately 3,000 square yards of new carpet; removal and disposal of approximately 7,500 LF of vinyl base; provide and install appoximately 7,500 LF of new vinyl base; and paint walls, door frames, and doors (approximately 60,000 square feet) with one prime coat and one top coat in rooms where carpet is being replaced. The Government estimates the cost of construction between $100,000 and $175,000.
