Description
This Solicitation Notice is for a project located at the 162nd Air National Guard, Tucson, Arizona. The contractor shall furnish all parts, tools, labor, supervision and materials necessary to UPGRADE DINING HALL / AUDIO VISUAL AND UPGRADE SUPPLY / VEHICLE MAINTENANCE FACILITY, PHASE TWO. Magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Work will consist of, but not limited to, renovation and upgrading interior of approximately 23,000 s.f. Facility. Site walls and walks, connection to site utilities, landscaping, irrigation, replace all existing windows, replace existing roofing, install metal panel fascia system, space frame canopy, split face concrete masonry unit (cmu) site walls, millwork, new doors, windows, metal studs, gypsum wallboard, insulation, suspended acoustical ceilings, lockers, toilet partitions, projection screens, kitchen equipment, mechanical systems, electrical systems. The solicitation package is being issued on the web site on 26 January 2001 with bid opening schedule on 2:00 p.m. MST, 27 February 2001. The site visit is MANDATORY and will be held 8 February 2001, 10:00 a.m. at the 162nd FW Air National Guard, Base Civil Engineering Office, 1350 E. Perimeter Way, Tucson, Arizona. Contractors will email to the Contracting Officer, not later than 6 February 2001, the number of persons (including sub-contractors) that will attend. Seating will be limited. Period of performance for this project is 360 calendar days following issuance of the Notice to Proceed, this performance period includes time if the Additive Bid items are awarded. Qualified contractors must have SIC Code 1542 among their approved SIC Codes. This is a Set-Aside for Small-Business. NO WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR THIS PACKAGE MAY BE MADE. All qualified and interested parties wishing to bid on this project must register and download the solicitation, specifications, drawings and wage determination from the following web site: www.azng.com/USPFO/solicita.htm. The web page has been updated since the Pre-Solicitation was published on 12 JAN 01, contractors that previously registered, DO NOT have to re-register. Registration need only be done once. Upon release of the solicitation, specifications and drawings, any amendments to the solicitation will be posted ONLY on the web page. It is the responsibility of bidders to monitor the web page for any amendments to the solicitation. The web masters address is located on the web page, any difficulty encountered in downloading the files, must be emailed to that address. Any suppliers of Dining Hall, kitchen or audio visual equipment must contact the Prime Contractors bidding the project. Information to suppliers WILL NOT be indidually provided, you can access the prime contractors information from the web registration page.
