Description

This is a sources sought/market research conducted in accordance with Part 10 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Andrews Air Force Base is requesting information and any suggestions that will be useful in developing a commercial Performance Based Statement of Work for the Maintenance and Repair of Automatic Doors. Industry input on standard commercial practices, commercial terms and conditions is requested. The services will include, but are not limited to, periodic inspection, preventive maintenance, unscheduled service calls and emergency repairs. Both Small and Large Businesses are encouraged to furnish information and comment on the Draft Statement of Work located on the Electronic Posting System at www.eps.gov, USAF, Air Mobility Command, Andrews AFB. Responses and comments shall be submitted via fax, e-mail or mail by 9 February 2001. Along with previously requested information, please provide automatic door maintenance and repair capabilities, business size, a point of contact and experience. The resulting contract will be a 100% small business set aside. The NAICS code is 811219; the size standard is $5.0 million.
