Description

Carl Vinson VAMC is a campus style facility. The two generators scheduled for replacement feed the east and west loops at the facility, providing emergency power to ICU, OR, Medical Wards and the Nursing Home. There is a tie-breaker between the feeds of the generator to support the full load in case one generator is down. Services to replace generators #2 and #4 include, but not limited to, site investigation, cost estimate, contract documents, construction period services. This project is anticipated to upgrade the existing two emergency generators and associated ATS, tie breaker, feeders etc. All work shall be in accordance with the latest NEC and VA criteria. The area of consideration for this procurement is limited to the state of Georgia. This procurement is issued IAW the small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is full and open. The NAICS code designated for this procurement is 541330. All interested and responsible A/E firms should submit a current SF 254 and a SF 255 to the attention of Paul Dixon (003/90C) at the above address. Forms must be received no later that 4:30 pm February 26, 2000.
