Description

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SPAWARSYSCEN SAN DIEGO) intends to issue a contract modification, on a sole source basis, to expand the scope of contract no. N66001-97-C-8542 with the University of Virginia. The contract currently provides for organizational structure for the chaotic information environment providing support for aggregating information resources and registering long-term or persistent queries for the selective dissemination of information. The modification provides for a level-of-effort increase for field studies relating to the validation of personalized information environments. The estimated value of the contract modification is $202,000.00. The period of performance will be extended from December 22, 2000 to September 30, 2001. Future new requirements for these services will be competitively procured. This is not a request for proposals and no solicitation is available.
