Description

The Support Service Purchase Division intends to solicit and nogotiate with: Northstar Study Guides Inc, P O Box 68, Dubberly La 70124, Attn: Joe Cole (318)377-8478 -- under authoirty of FAR 60302. Interested persons may identify their interedt and capability to respon to reequirement or submit proposals. However all proposals received after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government no to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in accordance with the format in Far subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Solicitation number N00206-01-Q-G007 applies. This solicitation document and incorporated profisions and cluases are those in effect through federal acquisition clircular 90-37 and defense acquisition circular 91-10. The standard industrial code is 2741 and the business sizes standard is 500 employees. This requirement is for a fixed priced contract for the following Line item 0001: Quantity 30, sets, Item description: Navy rating YEOMAN study guids the guide should contains typical questions that you may encounter on the YN advancement in rate examination. The study guide should be the products of many exhaustive hours of reviewing all the applicable directives concerning the YN ratings. The topics covered in this study guide should provide the knowledge requited to pass the professional knowledge area of the E-4 through E-07 advancement examinations. Each set is to be comprised of a book/tape/cd combo to include updating the material as a minimum yearly when the new bibliography is released. request (30) sets of Volume I (E4 & E5) for the following ratings: HM,SK,BM,YN,RM,MS,BU,EO,CM. Line item 0002: quanity 30, sets, Item descriotion: Volume II (E4-E7) for the following ratings: HM,SK,BM,YN,RM,MS,BU,EO,CM. Delivery of all items is required 60 days after award of contract to be delivered fob destination to: Commander, Naval Surface Reserve Force, 4400 Dauphine Street, Code N72, New Orleans La 70146-5100. Acceptance shall be made at destination. The provision at FAR 52-212-1, Instructions to offerors-COMMERICAL ITEMS APPLIES. ADDENDUM TO FAR 523212-1: paragraph (h), MULITIPLE AWARDS -- deleter entire paragraph and subsittute "AWARD. The government intends to (awad a single) contract resulting from this solicitation. Wuoters are required to complete and include a copy of the following provisions with ther proposals: FAR 52.212-3, OFFEROR REPRESENTATION AND CERTIFICATIONS-COMMERICAL ITMES. Also DFAR 252-225-7000. BUY AMERICAN ACT AND BALANCE OF PAYMENETS PROGRAM CERTIFICATE. Clauses 52.212-4, CONTRACT TERMS AND CODITIONS COMMERICAL ITEMS, applies.
