Description

The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS), 3601 S. 6th Ave., Tucson, AZ intends to negotiate sole source with Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, 1001 U.S. Hwy 202, Raritan, NJ 08869-0606, for a reagent rental agreement. The agreement shall include the use of Ortho's ID-MTS Gel Blood Banking System (2 each) and purchase a definite quantity (30 each per year) of #MTS4024 MTS Anti IGG Cards (4x12). The contract shall be for a base year with 2 option years. NAICS code #325413 applies to this procurement. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received on or before 2/16/01 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
