Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a sole source contract to Raytheon Systems Company, Tucson, AZ for a Battle Group Demonstration effort to support the PHALANX weapon system. The Battle Group Demonstration effort will be conducted to evaluate the potential for future contractor PHALANX Life Cycle Support (PLCS). The Battle Group Demonstration effort will consist of pre-deployment groom tasks for two Battle Groups, support to the Battle Groups during deployment, and post deployment activities. Work will be accomplished in Tucson, AZ, Louisville, KY and Norfolk, VA over a two-year period. See Numbered Note 22
