Description

Request for Quote Package will be available 02/12/2001. Polk Creek Emergency Spillway (ESW) Repair, Site 6 -- The work consists of excavating approximately 5,300 CY of unclassified material from the emergency spillway at an existing flood retarding structure designated as Polk Creek Site 6, Lewis County, West Virginia. Major items of work include: Clearing & Grubbing, 1 LS; Silt Fence, 1,168 LF; Seeding & Mulching, 3.6 AC; Removal of Water, 1 LS; Excavation, Unclassified, Emergency Spillway, 5,300 CY. NO PHONE OR FAX REQUESTS will be honored. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for February 28, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. Plan to meet at the USDA Weston Service Center, located at One Gateway Center, Weston, West Virginia. The service center is approximately 2 miles east of I-79 on Route 33 towards Elkins, WV. The conference will be conducted by John Weller, Contracting Officer's Technical Representative, 304-457-1118. There will NOT be any other pre-bid/site showing conference. All responsible sources may submit a quote.
