Description

Description: Notice of intent to negotiate a SOLE SOURCE contract with Franklin E. Halasz to provide Classification Analysis support. The purpose of this contract is to provide guidance, support, design and classification training to the Department of Energy (DOE). Classification guides are highly specialized and frequently classified; therefore, a security clearance will be required. Franklin Halasz has the expertise and is knowledgeable of DOE's classification policies and procedures and is the only source that can provide the services required. The Department of Energy intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302. Work to begin on or around 4/1/01. The scope of work is to be accomplished within a period of thirty-three months from date of award. Inquires regarding this procurement may be made to Norma Alfaro at the e-mail address listed above.
