Description

The Air Armament Center, Precision Strike System Program Office intends to solicit and award a sole source modification to Lockheed Martin Vought Systems, Dallas, Texas for contractor logistic support for the repair of MST non-warranty failures, support of six operational sites to repair/support the MST/MRTS, update the MST/MRTS due a change in the weapon, eliminate a software discrepancy or upgrade due obsolete parts, and provide engineering support to accomplish analysis's (failure, reliability & improvements). The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Matters of a routine or administrative nature should be addressed to Captain Kurt N. An ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
