Description

The Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute (AFRRI) intends to award on a sole source basis, a contract to Covance Research Products, Denver, PA, to provide canines for an ongoing research project. Canines are to be 65 each, 300 -- 500 day old male beagles, vaccinated against distemper, parvo, hepatitis, parainflunesa, leptospirosis, rabis, heartworm negative free from external and internal parasites. Deliveries are to be 30 each on the first week of December 2001 and 35 each on the first week of June 2002. It is imperative that the exact same strain of canine be continued in the research project so as not to jeopardize the research data already collected. See Note 22
