Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) Solicitation Number F64605-01-Q0004. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. (iv) This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 2678 with a small business size standard of 500. The associated NAICS code is 322233. (v) This synopsis/solicitation contains one contract line item number (CLIN) CLIN 0001: Price will be submitted as follows: *CLIN 0001, Automated Baggage Tags, 166 Case X $_________ (Unit Price) = $_________ (Total Price). Please provide the manufacturer and part number you are quoting on. If there is any variation in the quantity per case, please provide a breakdown of quantity per case and adjust your quantity as necessary. (vi) Must be compatible with Magnetic Ticket and Label Source Inc. Ticketing Machine, Model IER 512C; Tag/Label Part Number 17067. 1 case = 4000 labels (4/1000 flat form fed stacks). (vii) Delivery will be made at the following locations NLT 28 Feb 01: 1st Delivery Location: 630th AMSS/TRP (Yokota AB, Japan), Unit 5093, APO, AP 96328-5093 (28 cases); 2nd Delivery Location: 631st AMSS/TRP (Osan AB, Korea), Unit 2073, APO, AP 96278-2073 (25 cases); 3rd Delivery Location: 632nd AMSS/TRP (Elmendorf AFB, AK), 15380 Airlifter Drive, Elmendorf AFB, AK 99506-3935 (28 cases); 4th Delivery Location: 633rd AMSS/TRP (Kadena AB, Japan), Unit 5145, APO, AP 96368-5145 (30 cases); 5th Delivery Location: 634th AMSS/TRP (Andersen AFB, Guam), Unit 14008, APO, AP 96543-4008 (25 cases); and 6th Delivery Location: 635th AMSS/TRP (Hickam AFB, HI), 855 O_Malley Blvd., Hickam AFB, HI 96853-5132 (30 cases). Acceptance will be made by one point of contact from 615th AMSG/TRO upon notification from each location. FOB point is destination. (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors _ Commercial, applies to this acquisition without addenda. (ix) A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued based upon the proposal determined to provide the best value based upon delivery and price. (x) Offerors are not required to complete copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications _ Commercial Items, with offer. (xi) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions _ Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition without addenda. (xii) The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders _ Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
