- Description
- The U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center (USARMAC) has a requirement to Develop, test and document an Embedded Common Technical Architecture (CTA) that will provide a Nuclear, Biological and Chemical (NBC) Warning and Reporting Capability to target combat vehicles. The Embedded CTA shall include current Multipurpose Integrated Chemical Agent Alarm (MCAD) and Joint Warning and Reporting Network (JWARN) Block I alarm handling and message processing capability. The Embedded CTA shall be comprised of all the necessary hardware, software and cables to provide the required capability. Based on market research, this action will be accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 12. In accordance with Section 4202 of Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996, and FAR 13.5, USARMAC intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source commercial item contract to Bruhn NewTech, Inc., 10420 Little Patuxent Parkway, Suite 301, Columbia, MD 21044-3636 for this acquisition. The embedded CTA will include the JWARN Block I software developed by Bruhn NewTech, Inc. which is the only software currently approved for use within DoD for NBC warning and reporting.
