Description

The Seattle District, Corps of Engineers has a requirement for Right Bank Slope Stability at Mud Mountain Dam. Project consists of excavation of approximately 225,000 cubic yards of soils comprising the right rim of the White River Canyon adjacent to Mud Mountain Dam, Enumclaw, Washington. Work also includes auger cast concrete piers to support an existing pedestrian bridge within the steeply sloped canyon; installing an extension to the pedestrian bridge; relocating power, fiber optics communication, potable water, sanitary sewer, fire-protection water, sediment flushing water, and compressed air utilities to the dam; constructing access roads and benches with guard rails; installing three new 50,000 gallon potable water tanks; installing cast-in-place concrete retaining walls; installing slope stabilizing vegetation; removal and disposal of approximately 60 vertical feet of steel stairs; disposing of approximately 250,000 cubic yards of excavated soil, concrete rubble, demolished utility pipes, electrical wiring, and fiber optics. All work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications package. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 23499 and the Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1629 with size standard of $27.5 million. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on CD-Rom format only. Disks will be available on or about 15 February 2001 at no charge per set; issued on a first come, first served basis. No phone requests accepted. Firms desiring a copy of the EBS must register via the Internet at the following address: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct/ The disks will be mailed when available. They will also available from the District Plans Room Monday thru Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside.
