Description

This is a market survey to locate additional sources of supply for additional end items, spare circuit cards, other assemblies and, potentially, time and materials services for the AN/ARC-220 High Frequency Radio (5821-01-413-4233) and AN/VRC-100 High Frequency Radio (5821-01-413-4235). The Government will be procuring these items through a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The possible services encompassed by this requirement include, but are not limited to, frequency management development, testing support, repair of hardware that is out of warranty, etc. This market survey does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Current source for these items is Rockwell Collins (Cedar Rapids, IA). Detailed technical data for the manufacture and acceptance of these items is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing these items must so indicate in writing to PM-AEC, ATTN: SFAE-AV-AEC-F (Mueller), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5064. The responses must include documentation such as drawings, test results and other technical information demonstrating that the supplier can supply these items that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the items from the current suppliers of these NSNs and subassemblies. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the items will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
