Description

The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) from business entities interested in participating in an acquisition plan for laundry and dry cleaning equipment. The initiative will encompass equipment and parts associated with laundry and dry cleaning equipment, such as washers, extractors, laundry press, dry cleaning equipment, cover padding, doors, pins, lint screens, trunnion, plunger gaskets, yokes, clamps, handles and related assemblies This list of equipment and parts is not all-inclusive and is only a representative sample of items to be found under the planned contract. The majority of the items are name brand specific commercial items. Prospective contractors should be able to adequately support purchases of equipment. Prospective contractors will be required to have Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) capability. The subject solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis with the resultant contract being an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) with a one year base period and four (4) one-year term option periods. Solicitation # SPO500-00-R-0189, which includes a complete list of items, details, terms and conditions, is expected to be issued February 9, 2001 with an estimated closing date of March 12, 2001.
