Description

The U.S. Geological Survey, Boulder Magnetic Observatory, Boulder, Colorado, has a requirement for repair and/or replacement of roofs on three (3) government-owned buildings, and repair and/or replacement of ceiling in one (1) government-owned building. Specified requirements are as follows: 1) System must meet Underwriters Laboratory (UL) Class A. System must meet Factory Mutual (FM) requirements: T-9O wind resistance. Contractor must be certified to work with asbestos containing materials in the soffit. 2) System is to be a Non-Magnetic System. A sample of connectors/fasteners needs to be provided to USGS to assure it is non-magnetic. 3) Custom made copper drops for each corner of buildings. 4) Manufacturer and contractor guarantee required. Site visit shall be scheduled for Wednesday, February 7, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. The estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about February 6, 2001. Bids are due on February 14, 2001.
