Description

SYNOPSIS NOTICE: This sole-source combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented, forinformational purposes only. This is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Only one solicitation will be issued and only one proposal will be requested. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 8742: Management Consulting Services, small business size standard: $ 5 million. This serves as notice of intent to award a contract on a sole-source basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, to the United States Department of Agriculture Graduate School, 600 Maryland Avenue, Washington D.C. 20024. This is necessary because it is the only known responsible and responsive source that can satisfy the Government's particular service requirement to teach classes on the contractor-developed software program. The Headquarters of the Defense Logistics Agency has a requirement for the presentation of eight (8) weeks of additional classes for the Internal Management Control course designed by the USDA Graduate School. This unique requirement can only be met by contracting for the required training from the same source on an "other than full and open competitive" basis.
