Description

The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Palmer Johnson Distributors under the authority of FAR 6.302. This procuremnt is for repair parts (gear, hub, coupler)for a boat with a Twin Disc transmission. Palmer Johnson is an authorized Twin Disc distributor with the required parts in stock. The boat is working in the area of emergency repairs at Lock and Dam 26, Saint Louis District. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on reponses to this notice, is solely at the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation for offers. No specifications will be furnished.
