Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Taylor Park Ski Resort, Almont, Colorado, for lodging and cafe/kitchen rental (no food) required by the 10th Special Forces during multi-echelon cold weather training. Eleven cabins are required for lodging of soldiers from 10 March 2001 to 24 March 2001, a total of 14 days, with a cafe and full service kitchen located at the lodging premises. This is not a formal solicitation. This synopsis is not considered a Request for Quotation or Proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but will be used to determine if a comparable source or offerors are available and more advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
